Pacific City – No camera yet but I was moved by the sunset had tried to capture it with my phone.
These are actually tiny little sand structures about as big as my hand. The wind was blowing so hard, weathering away at these formations. You can see bits of sand on my lens.
I imagine the waves created the carve out in the Cliffside.
I was driving through Depoe Bay to go to Portland and happened to look out my window as I passed this. There was a tiny park on the side of the road that lent itself perfectly for this photo.
Such a beautiful area. I tried to access the punchbowl from the beach but it was high tide. I’m not sure if people can access it at low tide but I’d like to find out.
Was working on a friend’s house that day and took a break to see the ocean. I lucked out because this sunset was amazing. I didn’t have a camera yet but I took this with my phone, which is why it’s a little grainy.
Took this about half way through the trail at Cape Lookout
You can see storm systems come in at Cape Lookout. I sat and watched a couple come in and the skies can become very dramatic.
Stark contrast from the storms coming in but there was a moment of sunshine on the hike to Cape Lookout.
